Makerspace
What is a Makerspace?
Makerspaces are supplementary curriculum programs that facilitate exploratory learning, problem solving, and creation in a collaborative environment. Activities typically begin with inquiry and include tinkering, experimenting, inventing, and creating. Experiences may be self-directed or structured. Content may include a STEAM focus (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, Math) and/or a humanities focus.
